The Full Story



Our product has been developed in collaboration with one of India’s premier research institutions — the National Institute for Natural Fiber Engineering and Technology (NINFET), Kolkata, under the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR). The research and development were led by scientists and scholars associated with the institute, supported by the Government of India.
Once the prototype was developed, it underwent rigorous testing at NABL-accredited laboratories to evaluate key performance and safety parameters, including absorbency, leakage protection, pH balance, biodegradability, and anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties. The results consistently met and exceeded prescribed standards.
The product was further validated through supervised clinical trials. Insights from user feedback were carefully incorporated, followed by additional rounds of testing. These trials resulted in an overwhelmingly positive response, with over 85% user satisfaction, reinforcing the product’s safety, comfort, and effectiveness.
Fysika pads are made using natural fibers sourced from agricultural waste — materials that would otherwise be burnt through stubble burning or discarded in landfills. By repurposing these fibers, we reduce environmental harm while creating high-performance menstrual care.Each layer is designed with purpose:
Soft Top Layer
A carefully selected semi-permeable natural membrane allows fluid to pass through instantly while keeping the surface dry. The result: lasting comfort with no wet feeling.
High-Absorbency Core
The core uses a specialized natural fiber that rapidly absorbs and locks in fluid. Even during heavy flow, absorption is fast and reliable — providing confidence for extended wear.

Leak-Proof Bottom Layer
A biodegradable, non-permeable layer that functions like plastic without the environmental cost. It prevents leaks effectively, ensuring protection and peace of mind throughout the day.Together, these layers create a pad that is comfortable, safe, ultra-absorbent, and fully biodegradable — designed to work with the body and return gently to the Earth.
